ADVANCE TO AUSTRIA
BANK’S ACTION WELCOMED. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec, 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, June 22. The Foreign Secretary, Mr Arthur Henderson, on referring in the House of Commons to the advance by the Bank of England of £4,500,000 to Austria, said the Government welcomed the news of the bank’s action and hoped it would have effect.
