A LIVELY DEBATE. The schoolhouse was packed to overflowing the other night when Joe Moots debated with Professor Knowit on the question “Is Science a nuisance?” Joe claimed it was. “Take motor cars for instance. Twenty years ago it looked like a great invention. To-day there's hardly anywhere to park!”* The professor pointed out how much we owe to science . . . from tin openers to Television . . . and how one time luxuries were now necessities. “Luxury Tobacco!” yelled someone. “If it were not for modern machines Luxury would cost three times as much!” Joe didn’t have a chance after that. Luxury Tobacco positively will not burn the tongue. Barlow Bros., Christchurch, N.Z. Distributors.— Advt-
