/HE COMING CONFERENCE. CHURCHES ISSUE CALL TO PRAYER. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) London, June 12. The call to prayer issued by the churches of the world in connection with the Disarmament Conference in 1932 is signed by the Archbishop of Canterbury and leaders of the Welsh, Scottish and Irish Anglican churches, and also Baptists, Methodists, Free Churches, and other Non-Conformist bodies. It states: “Our hopes for the peace of the world largely depend on the success of the conference, wherefore our appeal to all Christian communities to engage in full private prayer that the delegates may be guided to results which will Strengthen the foundations of goodwill and peace among nations.”
