MOTORISTS’ MIRACULOUS ESCAPE. . (Per United Press Association.) Masterton, April 5. A miraculous escape from being killed was the good fortune of a Featherston resident, Horace Nelson Tulloch, single,' aged about 30. Late on Friday night Tulloch was proceeding over the Rimutakas when his car fell into a washout and was precipitated about 350 feet into the gully below. He became unconscious but later, recovering, walked home and was admitted to a private hospital suffering from head injuries. Thirty-seven stitches had to be inserted.
