SOVIET IDEAL NOT ACCEPTED. (United Press Assn.-By Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London (Ontario), April 4. The Labour Party of Ontario refused to recognize Soviet Russia as the ideal to follow by the Labour movement of Canada, delegates to the annual convention deleting the following clause from a resolution before the convention: “The Labour Party recognizes that Russia is endeavouring to establish a Socialist republic and at this time is making a valued contribution to Socialist thought and idealogy.”
