Military operations against the Burma rebels are proceeding apace, the latest move being the organization of mobile columns to cope with the changing conditions. Two hundred rebels, on returning to the villages in the Sein district, have been arrested, while a general round-up is taking place in the Tharrawaddy district, where further fighting Is reported between the Second and Fifteenth Punjabis and the rebels. The latter left 15 dead on the ground, but the Punjabis suffered no casultics. The rebels attacked a rice mill owned by Chinese, and the police killed six rebels and wounded many others.
