QUEENSLAND’S FINANCES
AN IMPROVED OUTLOOK. (Per United Press Association.) Brisbane, December 20. The Premier, Mr Moore, referring to the trading banks’ statement regarding the financial position, declared that he felt, so far as Queensland was concerned, that the drift had been checked and in view of the economies effected Queensland was in a better position to meet the difficulties ahead than some of the other State. Governments. Queensland had arrived at a stage where the position was improving.
