MURDERS IN NEW YORK
NOT A SINGE DEATH PENALTY. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) New York, December 18. Three hundred and seventy persons have been slain in New York City since January 1, and not a single criminal has paid the death penalty. This situation is unprecedented. It is 41 years since the law prescribed electrocution, and this illustrates how completely the law has broken down.
