W. H. BOYES & CO.
Some Charming Novelties. Whoever steps into W. 11. Boyes and Co’s up-to-date shop in search of the ideal Christmas gift will not go away disappointed. This Erm is well known for the quality of its goods and the excellence of its service but Christmas shoppers may not realize that in addition to the enormous stock usually carried by the firm there are a great many special Christmas attractions and novelties. These will not only. make eminently suitable Christmas gifts but they are so displayed as to make the often difficult task of shopping wholly enjoyable. There are displayed in the window bowls containing beautiful spun glass tulips in harmonious colours with leaves to complete the effect. It is extremely difficult to believe that the tulips are only of glass, for
they are a wonderful imitation of the real flower. Complete with the bowl the cost is only 10/6. Another novelty takes the form of delightfully quaint electric night lights complete with battery. These are being retailed at 4/6 and.6/6 and make a most acceptable present. Powder bowls of
aeroplane design in green and orange are another very attractive line. The main part of the establishment is replete with all manner of articles of apparel suitable for Christmas gifts. There are beautiful scarves at very moderate prices and lovely sun-shades both for ladies and for children. For the beach the most fashionable bathing costumes and bathing bags are displayed. Pretty little handkerchiefs for children cost only a few pence. Novelty bead necklaces are beautifully executed.
These and a great many other lines make Boyes a most desirable place to visit in the busy days ahead. There is both quality and variety in the articles displayed and tho price is right in every case.
