than at Noble's. Christmas cards and calendars are also very much in evidence. The cards and calendars grow more attractive each year, and to see those in Noble's is to want to buy not one but all. Another excellent line iS the assortment of ladies’ handbags which arc more handsome than ever this year. For the men there are all kinds of shaving and smoking appurtenances.
Artistic diaries, many novel knick-knacks, dainty bead necklets, stainless cutlery sets —these are other gifts that would be sure to please. No child could fail to be enraptured with Noble’s. The toys are such as adults today never dreamed of as possible of creation. Dolls that do amazingly human things and animals that appear to live arc seen side bv side. Beautiful dolls' prams and efficient tricycles are there for the girl or boy of tender years. The model aeroplanes are amazingly food. Children’s books are also a feature of the Christmas display. No child is displeased with the. gift of a book at Christmas, particularly of the attractive hooks of to-day and those who are at a loss what to give might do a lot worse than pay a visit of inspection to this part of Noble’s store.
