SOUTHLAND AXEMAN’S WIN. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraplt—Copyright.) (Rec. 12.35 a.m.) Hobart, December 8. A protest by A. J. Ransom against J. G. Hunter (Southland) being awarded the Reeves Handicap Chop at Ulverstone on the ground that, he had supplied insufficient performances was dismissed.
