The following programme was submitted: Song, children; recitation, Phyllis Wilson; song, Margaret Foster; dialogue, boys; primary song, primers; recitation, Nancy Thomson; tableau, girls; pianoforte solo, Nancy Thomson; recitation, Winnie Harding, song, children; recitation, James Thomson; solo, Captain Baker; duet, Lieutenant McEwan (leader); song, children; song, Lieutenant McEw’an. Prizes were distributed to the children at the conclusion of the concert.

A meeting of the Ohai Domain Board was held in the Public Hall on November 30. Mr A. E. Barnes acted as chairman in the absence of Mr H. Bruce, who was unable to attend owing to illness. The secretary, Mr E. W. -Hunt, was instructed to write thanking Thomas Bros., Invercargill, for a donation of shrubs for the grounds. Mr D. Cameron was granted grazing rights for one horse, the term of lease to be at the discretion of the grounds committee. A general meeting of the Ohai Football Club was held on Wednesday, December 3, Mr D. Cameron presiding over a poor attendance of members. It was resolved that the filling*of the holes and the levelling of the surface of the present playing area be left in the hands of Mr Cameron and the secretary, Mr A. V. Robershaw. At the recent Trinity College of Music Examinations held in Invercargill, Misses Alma Guttery and Elizabeth Birrell were successful in securing passes.
