MOTOR CYCLE RACING
CLASSIFICATION OF RIDERS. In accordance with the rules governing the Southland Motor Cycle Club’s grass track racing, competitors are re-classified after each meeting on the best times recorded by them at the three last preceding meetings of the season. The following is the present classification which will apply at the meeting on Friday next:— A Class: W. J. Tattersfield, G. J. Winton, H. P. Bailey, W. G. Jones, D. O. Wale and C. E. Holloway.
B Class: All others. Entries and challenges for the silver and bronze sashes close at 4 p.m. to-morrow.
