BODY RECOVERED
IDENTITY NOT ESTABLISHED.
POSSIBLY FORMER RESIDENT OF WANGANUI.
(Per United Press Association.)
Wellington, December 1
Although the body of the man, which was taken from the Wellington Harbour on Sunday, has not been identified, there is a possibility that the name was J. .A: Harrison and that he was formerly a resident of Wanganui. Early on the morning of November 16, a bicycle, which was painted blue and to which a bundle of clothes was attached, was found on the Thorndon Breastwork. In the bundle was a collar, similar in make and size to that which was on the body, and the other garments also tallied with those on the deceased. Both the clothes and bicycle were purchased in Wanganui and on the case of the razor in the bundle was the name, H. J. A. Harrison. Nothing further has been found concerning the man who fell into the harbour near the steamer Westmoreland on Saturday night and the body has not been recovered.
