ANCIENT CITY
AMERICAN PURCHASE OF SITE. (United Press Assn.—Dy Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8.45 p.m.) New York, November 30. Dr. James Breasted, director of the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago, has disclosed the purchase of an "archaelogical treasure house” for the purposes of exploration. It comprises the situ of the ancient city of Armageddon and the surrounding territory for the sum of 3500 dollars from an American widow residing in England.
