ORDER MADE

STRIKING SOLICITOR OFF ROLLS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, September 24, The Court of Appeal this morning made an order striking Robert George Gardiner Bain off the rolls of practising barristers and solicitors of the Dominion. Counsel for the New Zealand Law Society (Mr Free) said that Bain formerly practised in Gisborne, but recently had been convicted of numerous charges of theft from various clients and at present was serving a term of reformative detention for 12 months. The amount involved in these charges was £271 13/6. An order was made for the payment of £l5 15/- costs to the Law Society.
