The British Rugby team played their final game in Australia to-day against a Western Australian combination. It is 20 years since the last match at Perth against a British team. The visitors completely outclassed the local, side ' and gave an exhibition of brilliant passing and combined work which will go far to popularizing the code. A feature was a penalty goal by Matu Carpenter, a former New. South Wales player, from more than half-way down the ground. The final scores were: Britain 73, Western Australia 3. The attendance was 3,500. The Britishers were lavishly entertained, then joined a mail boat for Home.
