SHEEP TRUCKS

SHORTAGE IN THE SOUTH. COMPLAINT IN HOUSE. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, September IS. A complaint that there were not enough sheep trucks in Otago and Southland, was made in the House of Representatives tonight by Mr F. Waite (R., Clutha). He said that this shortage was the means of giving custom to motor services which were menacing the railways. He considered that a number of trucks should be constructed before the coming season in order to help business with the railways.
