SOLICITOR FINED

FAILURE TO HAVE TRUST ACCOUNT AUDITED. (Per United Press Association.) Napier, September 2. Reinhold Henry Wedde, a barrister and solicitor of Waipawa, was this morning fined £B5 by Mr A. M. Mowlem, S.M., on a charge of failing to have his trust account audited. Mr H. B. Lusk for the Law Society, stated that this was defendant’s third similar offence. For Wedde, Mr J. Humphries pleaded that the offence was committed through carelessness, and also partly because the defendant had been through a time of worry, including a car accident. His Worship said that carelessness did not warrant leniency.
