VESSELS COLLIDE

trawler Struck amidships. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 9.10 p.m.) Sydney, September 1. A collision 'occurred in Sydney Harbour to-day between the German vessel Strassfurt and the trawler Millimumul. The latter received a blow amidships, causing a gaping hole. Members of the crew placed a collision mat in the ‘hole, which minimized the inrush of water. The vessel was hurriedly docked.
