AIRSHIP R100

ATLANTIC FLIGHT POSTPONED.

(British Official Wireless.) Rugby, June 12,

The Air Ministry states that since the announcement was made that airship RlOO would not fly to Canada before the end of June, a request has been received from the Canadian Government that the flight be postponed until after the elections on July 28. The programme has accordingly been altered, and the flight will not now begin until the last three days of July, although the repairs to the airship have proceeded satisfactorily and are expected to be completed by the end of next week.
