ACTIVITIES IN AMERICA. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Washington, June 12. Mr W. Green, president of the American Federation of Labour, testifying before the House Committee, declared that the Communist Party, with the “Soviet as its bulwark,” had set out to control and overthrow the American Federation of Labour in a general scheme for destroying the Government in the United States. He outlined in the course of a statement comprising 10,000 words details of Communist schemes.
