KING AND QUEEN
RETURN FROM SANDRINGHAM. INVESTITURE AT PALACE. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, June 12. Their Majesties the King and Queen returned to London from Sandringham today. The King, who looked well and sunburnt, will to-morrow hold an investiture of knights bachelor at Buckingham Palace and will also hold a Privy Council. On Saturday the King and Queen will leave for Windsor Castle, whence • they will drive to Ascot each day from Tuesday to Friday of next week to attend the races, which are one of the chief events of the social season.
