PERSONNEL OF APPEAL BOARDS.

Appointments to the Teachers’ Appeal Boards for 1930 are gazetted to-night. The boards are set up to hear appeals in connection with grading and and consist of the chairman, Mr Andrew Duncan Thomson, representative of the Education Department, Messrs Alexander Bell, M.A., William Watson Bird, M.A., Nelson Thomas Lambourne, M.A., representatives of the Teachers, Secondary School teachers, Messrs Thomas Brodie B.A-, Frank Hyde Campbell 8.A.; technical school teachers, Messrs Frederick William Martin M.A., B.Sc., Robert John Thompson; primary school teachers, North Island, Messrs Alfred Joseph Charles Hall, Frank Livingston Combs, M.A.; South Island, Henry Frank Penlington, David Dickie Steadman.
