(United Frees Assn.--By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 9.30 p.ln.) Sydney, April 19. At the wool sales the offering totalled 8,804 bales, of which 8,446 were sole, also 223 privately. There was good general competition and the market was firm a) late rates for all descriptions. The outitanding feature was the demand for average to good'wools, prices for’which shoved a hardening tendency.-' Greasy Merino fleece sold to 231 d.
