YOUNG MAN CHARGED WITH THEFT. TACKLED BY GIRL USHERS. (Per United Press Association.) , Auckland, May 19. Misses E- Gunn and M. Cleaver, girl ushers at the Civic Theatre, pluckily attempted to hold a youth who was found in a dressing-room on Saturday night. First Miss Gunn and then Miss Cleaver grasped him, but he struggled free and fled towards the circle, where he was caught by an attendant. When taken nb charge -by the police, an unloaded revolver was found on him.

At the Court to-day the youth, who is under 16, was charged with theft, being in unlawful possession of a firearm, aqd with being unlawfully on premises, and'was remanded to the Children's Court.
