SOUTH AFRICAN VISITATION. WORST EVER EXPERIENCED. Cape Town, February 5. Reports from Tanganyika state that the worst floods within living memory have created an alarming position. Lake Gombo is rising rapidly, and the temporary bridge replacing the one washed away is already submerged. Goods traffic up country has been suspended during the last four weeks. Consequently there-is a shortage of supplies. The position must affect the Prince of Wales’s trip.
