STATELY CEREMONY AT TOKIO. (Rec. 11.10 p.m.) Tokio, February’ 4. A salute of 21 guns signalled the conclusion of a stately ceremony of ancient rites at the Imperial Palace during the wedding of Prince Takamatau, the Emperor’s brother, to Miss Kiduku Tokugawa, granddaughter of the last of the Shoguns. After visiting England they are proceeding to Madrid, presenting the King of Spain with the Grand Order of the Chrysanthemum.
