TRAFFIC IN OPIUM
CHINESE FINED £75.

Dunedin, December 5. At the Police Court, Sue Ham, described as a market gardener and a trafficker in opium, was fined £75 for being in possession of prepared opium. George Wong and Young Poy, two of his employees, were fined £lO for having in their possession an opium pipe and other utensils. They were described as martyrs to the drug.
