TRAGEDY IN MINE

THREE DEAD AND 12 MISSING. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Delhi, November 23. Three persons are dead and 12 are missing following a rock burst at Gorgaum mines. The burst occurred between the 66th and 67th levels and involved 21 machine drillers.

Rescue operations have started under great difficulties. Three of the injured are not expected to recover.
