BURGLARY AT RAILWAY STATION. EXPLOSIVES USED. (Per United Press Association.) Waipukurau, November 22. Late last night or early this morning the railway station was burglariously entered by means of forcing a window from the platform. No doubt an expert had been at work, as explosives were used with success in forcing open the large . safe, the inner casings being blown into a tangled mass. A luggage sack was used to deaden the sound and the fuse was applied to the keyhole of the safe. Two cash boxes are missing containing cheques and notes for a substantial amount and also silver and £4 in pennies.
