TYPHOID OUTBREAK
CASES IN CHRISTCHURCH.

Christchurch, October 11
During the last fortnight an outbreak of typhoid has occurred in Christchurch, six cases, two of them fatal, having been reported. In one case, which ended fatally, the patient ate tainted oysters. Exhaustive inquiries are being made.
