REBEL KING FLEES

CAPTURE OF KABUL CITY TREASURY CLEARED • OF WEALTH WILL AMANULLAH RETURN? (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 7 p.m.) Delhi, October 11. It is reported that Baccha Sakao, the rebel King, has fled to the Russian frontier and that the majority of his officers have been taken prisoner in the dramatic capture of Kabul. The city treasury was cleared of wealth by Baccha before flight. There is evidence in Afghanistan and the frontier towns of a stronger feeling in favour of the return of ex-King Amanullah. Prince Hayatullah Khan and Prince Abdul Majidjan, Amanullah’s brothers, who were reported to have been executed by Baccha, were found alive in Kabul.—Australian Press Association.
