BLUFF NOTES

(From Our Correspondent.)

The election of a borough councillor in place of Mr John Cameron, who is ineligible for re-election, having resigned in compliance with the requirements of the Public Bodies Act, resulted in his again becoming a member owing to there being no opposing candidate.

At the funeral of Captain John Bollone bn Sunday the following gentlemen acted as pall-bearers at the house: Messrs W. Dixon, W. Tanner, A. Scott, H. S. Cordery and his two nephews, Messrs Crosbie Hunter and Walker, while Mr J. McDougall was the sixth bearer at the graveside.
