WORKERS IN BELGIUM
BAN ON FOREIGNERS. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, September 21. The Brussels correspondent of The Times states that a Bill will shortly be introduced prohibiting foreign workmen from" entering the country unless coming to work at a trade in which there is a scarcity of labour. More than 10 per cent, of the workmen engaged in Belgium at the present time are foreigners, chiefly Poles and Italians.—Times Cable.
