ALLEGED THEFTS

MISSING POSTAL PACKETS.

Hew Plymouth, September 20. William Percival Leonard Knight pleaded not guilty in the Police Court to-day to eight charges of the theft of postal packets in New Plymouth and one charge of attempted theft from a post-box, and one charge of attempted breaking and entering at Waitara. He was committed for trial in the Supreme Court, bail being allowed.
