WHEAT PRICES
RECOVERY IN CHICAGO.
CONFIDENCE RESTORED.
New York, July 22.
A message from Chicago states that on the rush to buy back into the wheat market futures recovered all the losses suffered in the last week’s final trading. Confidence was restored by the continued dry weather in Canada and the unfavourable crop reports from Australia and the Argentine, and the strong action in Liverpool. Wheat closed: July, 14.1 cents per bushel; September, 1451; December, 152.1. —Australian Press Association.
