SUGAR PRODUCERS
SECRET AGREEMENT REACHED. (Rec. 8.50 p.m.) Brussels, July 23. A secret agreement has been reached between European, Belgian and Cuban sugar producers following upon a fortnight’s conference. The terms are at present withheld in order to avoid speculation, but they have been sent to Java. The producers arc conferring at Amsterdam.—Australian Press Association.
