CANADIAN LUMBER
EFFORT TO INCREASE EXPORTS.

Victoria (British Columbia), July 23.
The Premier, Mr Tolmie, has announced that the Government would aid provincial lumbermen in the efforts about to be made to gain a better footing in Australian and New Zealand markets. The lumbermen are sending two or three representatives to Australia in an endeavour to increase their exports.- The Government will contribute towards the financing of the mission.—Australian Press Association.
