PROPOSED CONFERENCE DISAGREEMENT OVER VENUE FEELING IN BRITAIN (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 8.50 p.m.) London, July 23. The diplomatic correspondentof the Daily Telegraph says that hopes of a meeting of the Reparations Conference at. Brussels on August 5 are not likely to be fulfilled. Germany has indicated that she views the Belgian venue with disfavour, while France favours a postponement of the conference. British circles meanwhile are resentful at the utter lack of consideration shown to Britain by powers which benefit at her expense by the Young Plan. There is also considerable indignation in League of Nations circles at the suggestion that the League Assembly be postponed to suit the convenience of one or two powers. —Australian Press Association.
