EXPORT OF COAL
INCREASE IN SOUTH WALES. (Rcc. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, July 21. Coal shipments nearly 10 per cent, higher and the prices of coal exported materially above those of a year ago were the salient features of the South Wales coal trade according to official figures reported at the Cardiff exchange yesterday. In the first six months the trade ports of Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Port Talbot have shared the increase, while there have been 20,000 more workers employed.—British Official Wireless.
