THREE YEARS’ REFORMATIVE DETENTION. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, July 22. The young Auckland solicitor, Raymond Bradford Purser, aged 28, who pleaded guilty in the Supreme Court to nine charges of theft, involving nearly £700; was sentenced to three years’ reformative treatment. Mr Justice Kennedy said tne accused during nine months had stolen money from a man who had trusted him. There tvere no circumstances to palliate the seriousness of his offence or to justify leniency and he was unworthy to belong to a profession whose traditions were those of scrupulous honesty. Through the prompt action of the Law Society he had been struck off the rolls. He would be sentenced to three years’ reformative detention on each charge the terms to be concurrent
