TRAGEDY FEARED
• STEAMER REPORTED BURNT. (Rec, 11.15 p.m.) Tokio, June 5. The Japanese steamer Ugomaru is -reported to have been burnt off the shore of Kamchatka when proceeding to the fisheries. The crew of 700, mostly Russians and 43 Japanese, are feared to be lost, but this at present is not confirmed. —Australian Press Association.
