THE WALLACE COMMITTEE. ANNUAL MEETING. (From Our Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Wallace Licensing Committee was held in the Riverton Courthouse on Wednesday, when there were present: Mr IV. 11. Woodward, S.M. (chairman), Messrs A. Bulman, Jno. Korrell, J. Forde, W. Templeton. bemorSergeant Fox represented the police. Most of the licensees appeared, or were represented by counsel and the following were granted:— Publicans' Licenses. In granting the application for the Waiau Hotel, the chairman said the committee wished to compliment the licensee on the excellent repairs carried out to the hotel. The chairman stated that the licensing fees would be the same as last year.
