DIPTON DOG TRIALS
SUCCESSFUL CONCLUSION. FURTHER RESULTS. The Dipton dog .trials were brought to a successful conclusion in fine weather. The entries received constituted a record and an additional day was necessary to complete the events. The trials were under the capable direction of the president (Mr J. Kellaban) with the other officials who combined to make the trials so successful. Appreciation was expressed to all who had assisted, to the donors of special prizes; to Mr J. Stewart for the use of his paddock and to Messrs Gerrard Bros, and D. McLean for providing sheep. The dipton hockey girls provided first class refreshments during the meeting which were much appreciated by all. Further results were as follows: — OPEN HUNTAWAY. Dogs to huntaway and slew as judge directs. Time,' 10 minutes. First prize £6, second £4, third £2 and fourth £l. Points for huntaway, noise, slew, style and command. r
