VERDICT OF SUICIDE

- COMPANY DIRECTOR’S DEATH. London, June 2. The inquest concerning the death of Mr J. E. Mounsey disclosed that his affairs were most satisfactory. Nothing justified selfdestruction. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned. —Australian Press Association. The dead body of Mr J. E. Mounsey was found in a wood between Merstham and Oxted with a bullet wound in the right temple. A pistol was lying beside the body. Correspondents who were investigating Mr Mounsey’s disappearance state that he was in no financial trouble as he had an income of over £20,000. Mr Mounsey had been missing for several days. He was a director of many companies, including Barclay’s Bank and the Trust and Agency Company of Australia.
