REPARATION PAYMENT
OUTSTANDING PROBLEM. LAST TWENTY-ONE ANNUITIES. Paris, May 31. An agreement has been reached between the creditor powers and Germany on ail reparations except two. The main outstanding problem is the payment of the last 21 annuities. The creditors propose that these should be supplied out of the profits of the International Bank. A general agreement is hoped for to-morrow, and the question of Belgian marks will be settled without difficulty.—Australian Press Association. THE GERMAN RESERVATIONS. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Paris, June 1. The Experts Committee agreed on all Dr. Schacht's reservations. The only remaining- issue is the Belgian claim, pending a settlement of which the cx|»erts will not conclude their labours.—Australian Press Association. PROPOSED MORATORIUM. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Paris June 1. The Reparations Experts agreed that the International Bank should have power to grant Germany a moratoruim in the event of her economic position in any year being such as would incapacitate her from payments. This applies only to the unconditional part of the annuity.—Australian Press Association.
