SYDNEY HOMES BOMBED

WINDOWS AND WALLS DAMAGED. SEVERAL NARROW ESCAPES. Sydney, May 28. Timber strike terrorists bombed three Sydney homes last night and attacked them with bricks and iron bolts. Fortunately nobody was seriously injured, but there were several narrow escapes. A car, seen dashing away just after each explosion, is believed to have carried the perpetrators. The first outrage was at the home of a blind man who was living with his wife and four sons, one of them being crippled, and his daughter in Leichardt. A similar attack was made on the home of a timber works foreman at Petersham. The third attack was made in the same district.

Bombs of the basket type shattered the windows and damaged the walls and ceilings.—Australian Press Association.
