SUSPICIOUS FIRE

GOLF CLUB WORKSHOP BURNT. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, May 11. The workshop at the Avondale Golf Club’s links, used by the professionals, was destroyed by fire on Thursday evening. The damage, estimated at £2OO, is covered by insurance. Following on similar fires at Kaiapoi and Rangiora, incendiarism is suspected.
