A UNIQUE CASE. (Per United Press Association.) Wairoa, May 8. A fourteen-year-old boy, Valentine Green, was killed late this afternoon by a golf ball driven by a lady practising on the golf links at Tuai. KILLED BY FALL OF METAL. Dannevirke, May 8. Vernon Mathieson, aged 18, while engaged in a metal pit on the farm of his father, Christian Wilter Mathieson, at Otawhao, was buried by a fall of metal. He was extricated an hour later, dead.
